Out in the silvery Astral Sea, a grand arena awaits great heroes willing to risk it all. The Proving is a gauntlet of only the most powerful beings: champions of worlds, demigods, and fearsome monsters of all kinds attend regular tournaments. The enigmatic Maker - the overdeity who presides over the games - has opened the viewing to multiversal crowds, with tens or hundreds of thousands of souls in attendance for any given bout.
The prize for advancement is nothing short of miraculous: a True Wish, a treasure handed down from the bloodthirsty gods of war themselves.
The only thing greater than the clamour for the Maker's prize is the endless parade of deaths. To be a contender and fail is to have one's memory and deeds excised from history, their soul annihilated from Creation forever.
Please Read: This is not a Persistent World event; you may not bring any PW characters that you have rolled and levelled up on our website. Instead, you must build a Level 20 character from the ground up, according to the set of custom guidelines provided below. Characters that are used in these sessions do not progress or gain gold. When signing up for a Level 20 game, you can create a completely different character each time or replay a character that you have previously created for this event.

Dungeons & Dragons 5.5 Edition
https://dnd.wizards.com/start-playing-dnd
Description:
The first Dungeons & Dragons game was played back when Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson chose to personalize the massive battles of their fantasy wargames with the exploits of individual heroes. This inspiration became the first fantasy roleplaying game, in which players are characters in an ongoing fantasy story. This new kind of game has become immensely popular over the years, and D&D has grown to include many new ways to vividly experience worlds of heroic fantasy. The core of D&D is storytelling. You and your friends may tell a story together, guiding your heroes through quests for treasure, battles with deadly foes, daring rescues, courtly intrigue, and much more. You can also explore the many worlds of D&D through any of the hundreds of novels written by today's hottest fantasy authors, as well as engaging board games and immersive video games. All of these stories are part of D&D.
