October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. About 1 in 8 women in Canada will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, and finding it early makes a real difference. If you are 40 or older in Ontario, you can book a mammogram through the Ontario Breast Screening Program without a doctor's referral.
