Come on out and jump into a fun and casual adventure with a welcoming group of like-minded folks. This is an Eberron adventure - magic replaces technology in an industrial revolution-like D&D world. Adventurers navigate powerful guild families, nations recovering from a continent-spanning war as dark forces gather: corrupt officials, the agents of rival nations and otherworldly horrors are on the move!
Eberron was inspired by Indiana Jones, Film Noir detectives and steampunk novels. Expect a varied cast of NPCs, high-octane adventure and political intrigue. My tables normally have a balanced mix of combat, social encounters and skills challenges. This will be a fast-paced adventure in a rich setting with a serious tone and dark politics background.
An ancient “Earth-Link” under the city of Starilaskur has been found, a Gnome scholar from the great Library of Korranberg arrives to rediscover this lost magic of the distant past. The King’s Citadel asks the heroes to guard this bookish expert in travelling through the Earth-Link into unknown parts of the Underdark beneath Breland. This is Part 9 in my Shadows of Breland series, it follows on from follows on from Dark Lake Discovery. This adventure is designed for level 6 to 8 characters.
Note: This table will use the standard 5.5/2024 D&D rules. Your characters may meet some of the custom species and classes in the Eberron setting but until they're officially introduced back into the game they're not permitted in PW sessions. I'll have Eberron-themed pregen characters available at the table. Reach out to Paul B on the Discord server if you want to discuss characters in advance.

Dungeons & Dragons 5.5 Edition
https://dnd.wizards.com/start-playing-dnd
Description:
The first Dungeons & Dragons game was played back when Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson chose to personalize the massive battles of their fantasy wargames with the exploits of individual heroes. This inspiration became the first fantasy roleplaying game, in which players are characters in an ongoing fantasy story. This new kind of game has become immensely popular over the years, and D&D has grown to include many new ways to vividly experience worlds of heroic fantasy. The core of D&D is storytelling. You and your friends may tell a story together, guiding your heroes through quests for treasure, battles with deadly foes, daring rescues, courtly intrigue, and much more. You can also explore the many worlds of D&D through any of the hundreds of novels written by today's hottest fantasy authors, as well as engaging board games and immersive video games. All of these stories are part of D&D.
