The Dungeons & Dragons Roleplaying Game has defined the medieval fantasy genre and the tabletop RPG industry for more than 30 years. In the D&D game, players create characters that band together to explore dungeons, slay monsters, and find treasure. The 4th Edition D&D rules offer the best possible play experience by presenting a large variety of exciting character options, an elegant and robust rules system, and handy storytelling and encounter building tools for the Dungeon Master.
- Cooperative Play Experience – character abilities work best as a team, setup combos of your powerful attacks.
- Action-packed, cinematic combat – every character gets powers, choices of abilities to use in combat. Every attack power will do a little something extra beyond your base attack of rolling to-hit and damage. Describe how you push the monster back with your shield, or embrace martial-arts style and call the name of your attack as your use it! At the powers are presented colour coded on your Pregen character sheet, built on a consistent system across all the classes.
- Choice of 17 different pregenerated characters provided by the Dungeon Master. Each pregen character is a different class and unique species. Choose from a human Cleric, dwarf Fighter, elf Ranger, halfling Rogue, dragonborn Paladin, gnome Warlock, tiefling Warlord, eladrin (high-elf) Wizard, genasi Swordmage, gith Avenger, half-orc Barbarian, half-elf Bard, minotaur Druid, deva Invoker, goblin Sorcerer, goliath Warden, and kobold Monk. Pregens are unnamed and have portraits of both male and female presenting versions of that species and class combination.
- Have any questions? You can contact me directly through the TorontoDND Discord group, (kelvorravenstar). Rules for creating your own character will be available there as well. See the thread "4th Edition D&D game" in the other-rpgs section.
