It has been twenty long years since the League of Light defeated us with stolen magic and the power of dying gods. Our generals were imprisoned, our armies scattered across the Toothed Mountains. The League crowned themselves Kings and Emperors of this land that is rightfully ours. All will bow to the true rulers of this world. No dying god will save them. No Lich King will betray us. Come, spirits of the dark, we gather at the Dark Tower.
We will have our revenge.
Legend in the Mist is a rustic fantasy tabletop RPG from Son of Oak Game Studio, the team behind City of Mist. Built on the narrative-driven "Mist Engine," it trades traditional stat blocks for Tags; evocative descriptors that capture who your character is, what they carry, and what haunts them. Players take on the role of humble villagers or unlikely heroes from small, secluded communities, drawn into an epic journey full of peril and discovery in a world of wild hills, ancient forests, and folklore lost to time. Think Fellowship of the Ring by way of Princess Mononoke.
