You are the mightiest adventures of this age. You have slain fearsome beasts, held cataclysms at bay and kept the innocents of the world safe through your heroic actions. In recent months, however, a strange and unfamiliar feeling has been building within each of you. Almost imperceptible to begin, you now cannot ignore the sensation of impending doom that grows within your chest. Late last night, a blinding beam of energy appeared, seeming to pierce the heavens, the sky and the earth. It was accompanied by a devastating shockwave of energy that spread across the lands. As news of this strange phenomenon reaches you, so does an urgent summons to Mount Celestia, also known as the Seven Mountains of Goodness and Law. It appears that your instincts were correct and that you are needed once again to contend with the forces of evil…

Dungeons & Dragons 5.5 Edition
https://dnd.wizards.com/start-playing-dnd
Description:
The first Dungeons & Dragons game was played back when Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson chose to personalize the massive battles of their fantasy wargames with the exploits of individual heroes. This inspiration became the first fantasy roleplaying game, in which players are characters in an ongoing fantasy story. This new kind of game has become immensely popular over the years, and D&D has grown to include many new ways to vividly experience worlds of heroic fantasy. The core of D&D is storytelling. You and your friends may tell a story together, guiding your heroes through quests for treasure, battles with deadly foes, daring rescues, courtly intrigue, and much more. You can also explore the many worlds of D&D through any of the hundreds of novels written by today's hottest fantasy authors, as well as engaging board games and immersive video games. All of these stories are part of D&D.
