Adventure Mission of Mercy Undead Horror

Sorry, tickets are not available after the event start time.

This is a night of gaming for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies. The DMs at this event will all be from the LGBTQ+ community and will feature LGBTQ+ characters and stories.

This is an Eberron adventure - magic replaces technology in a industrial revolution-like D&D world. Adventurers navigate powerful guild families, nations recovering from a continent-spanning war as dark forces gather: corrupt officials, the agents of rival nations and otherworldly horrors are on the move! Your characters are hired by the King's Citadel of Breland to investigate a new threat to the northeast frontier!

Eberron was inspired by Indiana Jones, Film Noir detectives and steampunk novels. Expect travel montages, high-octane adventure and political intrigue. My tables normally have a balanced mix of combat, social encounters and skills challenges. This will be a investigative urban adventure in a rich setting with a serious tone.

Heroes are called once more by a Brelish Army scout to the ruins of Maakharaal near to the eastern city of Vathirond. This haunted war-torn area is all but abandoned, this time the mission is personal - the spirit of a beloved warrior is trapped in the ruins unable to pass on. Can the heroes find the key to saving this trapped soul, and possibly others? This is an newly written lower-level chapter in my Shadows of Breland series, it follows on from Haunted City (Part 8b). This adventure is designed for level 7 to 8 characters.

Note: This table will use the standard 5.5/2024 D&D rules. The Eberron setting is now available but please follow PW rules on allowed options for your characters. I'll have Eberron-themed pregen characters available at the table. Reach out to Paul B on the Discord server if you want to discuss characters in advance.

    Dungeons & Dragons 5.5 Edition

    https://dnd.wizards.com/start-playing-dnd

    Description:

The first Dungeons & Dragons game was played back when Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson chose to personalize the massive battles of their fantasy wargames with the exploits of individual heroes. This inspiration became the first fantasy roleplaying game, in which players are characters in an ongoing fantasy story. This new kind of game has become immensely popular over the years, and D&D has grown to include many new ways to vividly experience worlds of heroic fantasy. The core of D&D is storytelling. You and your friends may tell a story together, guiding your heroes through quests for treasure, battles with deadly foes, daring rescues, courtly intrigue, and much more. You can also explore the many worlds of D&D through any of the hundreds of novels written by today's hottest fantasy authors, as well as engaging board games and immersive video games. All of these stories are part of D&D.
