Becton, Ontario. A small town on the north shore of Lake Superior along the Trans Canada Highway, a four hour drive from anywhere of note. It has a small airport, an emergency hospital, a school, a church, two hotels, a dock, an abandoned Big Box Store, and the long abandoned silver mine.

It also has a problem.

Like clockwork, something happens in Becton every seven years. The sort of thing that everyone knows but no body talks about. Seven years ago, the king of all blizzards formed right above the town. Local darling Janet Vance disappeared. Again. And a lot of people died. When the blizzard cleared, the police came in and found that prominent members of the community were all murdererd. The killers were never caught.

Most people abandoned Becton. Those who were too old or too poor to move stayed behind. There were some who believed the only choice was to stay. And wait. 

You are part of an investigation team from Toronto. Your cover is that you're documentarians to cover Becton's new local music festival. Your boss has told you to find out what exactly happened seven years ago and is it going to happen again. There's a bonus in it if you can find out what happened to Janet Vance.

As your van drives down the street, you wonder what you would find in a ghost town of worth. You look up and see the defaced street sign as if giving you an answer:
