At this event you will team up with your fellow tables and play in a coordinated game where you are all running in one big game! Each table will be running their own adventure within this over-arching story:

The Nightmare King stirs… After thousands of years, the ancient entity responsible for every bad dream in existence is threatening to break loose from its prison deep within the Dimension of Dreams. During a mysterious solar eclipse, apocalyptic cultists and creatures from other realms are flocking to the King’s banner. It is up to brave adventurers - working with the secret societies of the Gilded Mask and the Azure Eye - to find and protect the Star Stelae, ancient obsidian monoliths scattered across the globe that hold firm the doors of the King’s prison. While these two secret societies have been at odds, ultimately they will need to band together in order to seal away the ancient, reality-warping power of the King in Slumber!

You will be working for the secret society known as The Azure Eye: “Through the eye, we see all. In vision, we find clarity."

Descending from oracles and sages, the Azure Eye is a secret society of magic users that have insinuated themselves into arcane academics. They consist of scribes, diviners, and prophets of all types. The Eyes believe in hoarding and using cryptic knowledge to their benefit, preferring arcane solutions to their problems.

Dressing in blue and silver is encouraged!

Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition

https://company.wizards.com/

Description:

The first Dungeons & Dragons game was played back when Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson chose to personalize the massive battles of their fantasy wargames with the exploits of individual heroes. This inspiration became the first fantasy roleplaying game, in which players are characters in an ongoing fantasy story. This new kind of game has become immensely popular over the years, and D&D has grown to include many new ways to vividly experience worlds of heroic fantasy. The core of D&D is storytelling. You and your friends may tell a story together, guiding your heroes through quests for treasure, battles with deadly foes, daring rescues, courtly intrigue, and much more. You can also explore the many worlds of D&D through any of the hundreds of novels written by today's hottest fantasy authors, as well as engaging board games and immersive video games. All of these stories are part of D&D.
