Description: Fort McCall was established by Lord Alistair McCall. What started as a rough palisade has quickly grown into a fortified town and ferry port. It is from here that McCall will coordinate with his men, as well as mercenaries to explore and pacify the entire region designated as the McCall Holdfast (Hexes R12:C10; R13:C9; R13:C10; R14:C9; and R14:C10)

Description: A small network of tunnels dug out by a group of kobolds led by hobgoblins. The lair was raided and cleared by Patios (Elven Ranger), Bif (Half-Orc Barbarian), Lola (Halfling Thief), Barry the Bardbot (Warforged Bard), and Kormak (Dwarven Cleric). The warrens remain, however, and something else may move in....

Small community of those devoted to the Goddess Demeter

Description: A private community of devotees to Demeter who have been given permission by Lord McCall to take up residence. Not content to wait for the pacification of the land, they marched into the dangerous wilderness lead by a Druid called Thoricus. They took some losses to monsters en route, but eventually made it to the region Thoricus designated. Adventurers sent to report on the Commune have reported that they wish nothing to do with outsiders, but weren't violent.

Description: This cove, discovered by explorers, cannot be accessed from land, save by climbing down sheer cliffs. The sharp-eyed explorers who discovered it spotted a dock concealed inside the cove, and surmised (but could not confirm) there might be caves going into the cliff face, suggesting the presence of a hidden location pirates and smugglers could use.

The crypt of the Dragonborn Sorceress known as Xanthia

Description: Inside the boundaries of lizard man territory, and buried beneath the ruins of a crumbling human keep, the crypt of Xanthia was long undisturbed. An eldritch enchantment caused the rejuvenation of undead creatures infesting the area, prompting the local lizard men tribe to stay away. The remains of a grand ball room were the host of a Dance Macabre of sorts, wherein undead victims of the magic in the area gather and dance, becoming hostile towards interlopers - those who are killed becoming part of the deathly dance. In a recent incursion - Adventurers entered the crypt and disrupted the magic causing the rejuvenation, but deeper catacombs and the dangers within remain undisturbed and ready for plunder.
