Meraxes Manalbeth has always been a bit of a mysterious figure in noble circles, having a finger in every pie there is to profit off, and has made himself a very wealthy man. Rumour has it he has allied himself with the Mad King in his war effort to some end, but how is unclear.

While her allied forces rest in Begnion, Princess Elincia has asked your group to investigate Meraxes and his estate and one way or another cut off his support of the Mad King, if such connection exists. If you can find proof of a link, and if you do end the alliance, you would be saving countless lives and tipping the scales in the Princess's favour. Since the war began he has been hardly seen outside his manor however, but the proof must be inside. What else waits, is to be seen...

Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition

https://company.wizards.com/

Description:

The first Dungeons & Dragons game was played back when Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson chose to personalize the massive battles of their fantasy wargames with the exploits of individual heroes. This inspiration became the first fantasy roleplaying game, in which players are characters in an ongoing fantasy story. This new kind of game has become immensely popular over the years, and D&D has grown to include many new ways to vividly experience worlds of heroic fantasy. The core of D&D is storytelling. You and your friends may tell a story together, guiding your heroes through quests for treasure, battles with deadly foes, daring rescues, courtly intrigue, and much more. You can also explore the many worlds of D&D through any of the hundreds of novels written by today's hottest fantasy authors, as well as engaging board games and immersive video games. All of these stories are part of D&D.
